Key Features
This isn’t just a parts kit; it’s a project. The Polymer80 PF940v2™ 3-Pack gives you three complete 80% frames and the dedicated jig to finish them. Based on our hands-on time with these, the construction feels durable and the machining is consistent with what the manufacturer advertises. The real value is in the volume—three identical platforms mean you can build out a full-size 9mm, a .40 S&W, and a .357 SIG, or have spares for experimentation without starting from scratch on a new jig setup. We’ve found the low return rate on this SKU speaks to its predictable quality.

Pros and Cons
✅ Pros:
1. Cost-Effective Multi-Build Platform: The per-frame price is hard to beat for this level of consistency.
2. Proven, Reliable Design: The PF940v2 is the workhorse of the 80% world. Our staff observation was “drop-in fit on every frame we tested. No fitting required.”
3. Single Jig for Three Frames: Set up your drill press once and knock out all three frames in an afternoon.
4. Consistent Quality: Having handled these directly, the fit and finish from one frame to the next is remarkably uniform.
5. Foundation for Customization: Three blank canvases for stippling, undercuts, and cerakote experiments.
❌ Cons:
1. Significant Upfront Investment: It’s a larger chunk of change than a single kit.
2. Requires Tools & Skill: This is not a beginner’s first project. You need tools and confidence with them.
3. Storage: You now have three unfinished projects to keep track of.
Who Should Buy This?
Buy this if: You’re an experienced builder who already knows you like the PF940v2 platform and want to stock up. You have plans for multiple calibers (like a 9mm range toy, a .40 S&W build, and a dedicated .357 SIG). You appreciate the efficiency of completing several frames in one workshop session. You value the lower per-unit cost of a bulk purchase for a proven product.
Skip this if: This is your very first 80% build. Start with a single kit. You only need one specific firearm. You don’t have the full suite of tools (drill press, router) to make quick, clean work of multiple frames. Your budget only allows for one frame at a time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this kit compatible with Glock 19 slides?
No. The PF940v2 is a full-size frame designed for slides and parts from the Glock 17 family (G17, G22, G31, etc.). For a Glock 19 slide, you need a PF940C (Compact) frame.
What tools do I absolutely need?
At a minimum: a hand drill (a drill press is highly recommended for accuracy), a Dremel tool with a router base and cutting bits, a set of end-cutting pliers, a hammer, and pin punches. Good lighting and a vise are also major helpers.
Is the jig reusable after finishing these three frames?
Yes, the aluminum jig is quite durable. While it’s optimized for these three frames, many builders carefully reuse it for additional frames, though wear on the drill guide holes can eventually affect precision.
Do the rails require fitting?
Based on our testing, typically no. The stainless steel locking block and rear rails are designed for a drop-in fit. In the rare case they don’t, minor filing or sanding is usually all that’s needed. Our staff’s direct note was “drop-in fit on every frame we tested.”
Where can I buy Polymer80 online?
You’re already here. Polymer80 Depot is a direct retailer based in Muskogee, OK. We handle the product directly, ship fast, and offer support based on hands-on experience.
How does the grip texture compare to a factory Glock?
It’s more aggressive. The Polymer80 texture has a pronounced, grippy pattern that most shooters prefer, especially if their hands get sweaty. It’s one of the most liked features of the platform.
What’s your return rate on this product?
It’s very low. Customers generally get exactly what they expect from this product—a well-machined, consistent 80% frame kit. Most returns we see are related to wrong orders, not product defects.
