This bundle combines two of Polymer80’s most popular 80% platforms: the RL556V3™ AR-15 lower receiver and the PF940Cv1™ compact pistol frame. It’s designed for builders who want to complete both a rifle and a pistol project, offering significant value over purchasing separately. The included jigs and tooling make the machining process straightforward. Since we began stocking this bundle in summer 2025, it has consistently been a top seller with repeat customers.
Key Features
- Complete Build Kit: Includes both the RL556V3™ 80% AR-15 lower and the PF940Cv1™ 80% compact frame, each with its own dedicated, precision-machined polymer jig.

Frequently Asked Questions
What tools are required to complete these 80% frames?
You will need a hand drill or drill press, a vise, and basic hand tools (hammer, punch set, files). The included jigs guide the drilling and milling operations. A router or Dremel tool with the appropriate milling bit is required for the final pocket milling on the PF940Cv1™.
Are these frames serialized or considered firearms?
No. These are unfinished 80% frames/receivers. They are not considered firearms under federal law and do not have serial numbers. They are sold as components. It is the builder’s responsibility to understand and comply with all federal, state, and local laws regarding the manufacture and possession of firearms.
What parts kits do I need to purchase separately?
For the RL556V3™ AR-15 lower, you will need a standard AR-15 lower parts kit, buffer tube assembly, stock, and a complete upper receiver. For the PF940Cv1™ compact frame, you will need a Gen 3 Glock 19/23 slide completion kit, lower parts kit, and a locking block.
